I haven't decided which college I should join as yet because I don't know about colleges. Maybe I have to take a stroll in our area to know about all colleges. Once I got to know the college status, I will apply/enroll to a famous college.

Please correct my sentences.

You might "join" the faculty as a professor, but we don't often speak of "joining a college." The two verbs you use in your final phrase are appropriate. Also, you might add a word to describe what you don't know: "I don't know anything/much about colleges." The next sentence seems to need something. Perhaps, " - - take a stroll in our area to learn more about local colleges."

Finally, we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves if we enroll before our application is accepted.
