As well OR as well as?

Hi,

I have two questions.

1) Does the sentence below grammatically correct? (there should be another as?)
2) What is the meaning of "underlying" in this context?

"With Quest's storage monitoring products, you can monitor and manage the performance of your underlying physical storage as well the capacity and topology metrics to ensure the best possible virtual infrastructure performance. "

Thank you,
M
