As well expression
Is the expression "as well" mostly used in informal occasions? Longman dictionary claims so. However, I think it's also used in formal prose. (http://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/as-well)
For what it's worth, I certainly don't see it as mostly informal. What do you think?
