'as well as' or 'that way'

Is this correct?

-Indians bury their dead in the ship burials, don’t they?

-They do. By the way, I was talking about Viking burials, they buried their dead that way too.

'They buried their dead that way too'. Is it correct? Or it would better - 'they buried their dead as well as indians. or something
