Beside making money, businesses play a vital role in social development. In my opinion, while firms regard profit as their first priority, they also conduct business in a socially responsible manner

It is undeniable that profit contribute both a company’s success and the society’s progress. A healthy financial base helps enterprises stand still in the competitive market and enable them to expand production’s scale, which results in job creation and national economic strength. Without generating profit, they would be likely in trouble of death. Besides, the more money a company earns, the higher tax they have to pay. For example, if profit earned throughout a year exceeds the total cost of upstream and downstream process, the firm has to comply strictly with tax law by submitting a part of this amount to national budget. Therefore, authorities will have enough money to invest in public facilities and services, including health care and education.

On the other hand, companies are aware of their social duty. They have joined hands in protecting the environment through waste treatment system or green supply chain, which aids to reduce the burden of pollution on ecosystem. Furthermore, enterprises donate money to charity and sponsor big philanthropic projects for the orphan, the poor, and the homeless. For instance, a TV program called” Luc Lac Vang” has given hundreds of cows to poor farmers from every corner of my country, thanks to millions of money donated by not only big-sized companies but also medium- sized ones. Their contribution leads to an improvement of quality of life.

In conclusion, beside earning money, firms always promote their social responsibilities. The society is becoming more and more moral, due to these beautiful activities.
