In recently, besides making money, businesses enterprises need to have social responsibilities have been received a great deal of public attention. In my opinion, while making profit is the top priority of each enterprises, they totally agree that they should have responsibilities to society

On the one hand, the companies effort to maximize their profits have several benefits to society as the whole. Fist, since the higher profits earned by enterprises , the more taxes they pay to the government. This means that, the authorities have more revenue to spend to key fields, such as hospital, education, healthcare, and other facilities, which leads to improve the quality of life of the whole community. Second, by earing huge profits, the companies have opportunities to grow their business. In fact, the enterprises use their retain earning to expand their production and creating new jobs within companies, which result in reducing unemployment rate.

On the other hand, there are several compelling reasons why the companies should accept that they should have responsibilities to society as the whole. First, since their production activities have negative effect on environment, it results in environmental degradation. In fact, these companies have irresponsible disposal of wastes, such as factory emission, chemical wastes into river, which results in a cacbon footprint into the air that is the main culprit for global warming. Second, the enterprises should help the people who have less fortune since they have money to do this. For example, the big corporations, like Unilever, vinamilk, enhanced their public images through philanthropic actions, such as providing scholarships and giving charitable donations
