It is commonly argued by some that besides generating profit, enterprises are responsible for public duty remains a sourse of controversy. In my opinion, I completely agree with the idea that corporation must be held accountable for their actions in the comminity.

On the one hand, companies always give the priority for maximizing their profit because it may have a variety of benefits to both thier own organization and society. Firstly, the higher the profits gained, the higher the capital contributed. As a result, companies have the opportunity to build up and develop their business, inhancing their reputation by expanding thier production proccess, creating a wide range of career options. Secondly, if corporation earns a huge profit, they will pay significant taxes to the goverment. This betters the quality of our lives substantially thanks to authorities's investment. To give a clear example, the goverment utilize their budget into public constructions such as shool, road, hospital and so on.

On the other hand, it is believed that businesses should take blame thier social responsibilitis on the society. One reason is that, nowadays, more and more companies and industrial zones have been discharging chemical wastes into rivers, threatening and causing the death of aquatic animals, not to mention to the fact that global warming partly stems from factory emissions. To alleviate these enviromental issues, companies should install waste treatment system which may control air pollution. Another reason is that enterprise should give a helpful hand to the underpriviliged who less fortune or donate money to orphanage, animal conversation through philanthropic.

In conclusion, both making profit and taking the public duty have also equal importance. I strongly believe that the quality of life have been improved if corporations conform these two above fundamental principles.
