As a result, authorities may have more revenue to invest in importan fields such as education or health care, which leads to an improvement in the quality of life of the whole community. Additionally, when the enterprises ear much money, they can expand their infrastructure businesses , which create more job opportunities for people.
On the other hand, companies should not be run with the sole aim of maximising profit; they have a wider role to play in society. The first reason is that their activities have an impact on the enviroment. Without controls, production process may result in enviromental degradation, such as: global warimg strems from factory emissions or the irresponsible dispoal of industrial waste. For instance, they could install waste treatment systems instead of discharing poisonous waste into rivers, water pollution could be controlled. Another reason is that enterpries should provide scholarships or have philanthropic actions to help homeless or disabled inhibitants who are less fortunable. This wiil contribute to better community and also enhence the image of the firms of the branches.
