As well as destiny brought me here...

I would like to know if these two sentences are grammmatically correct and sound idiomatic.

1. As well as destiny brought me here, it will take me to another place where the battle of good against evil continues.

2. The same way as fate brought me here, it will take me to another place where I could help good in his eternal battle to defeat evil.

Do I have to change any word to sound better? Thanks in advance.
