Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for western countries. It falls on the 25th of December. People decorate Christmas trees at home, as well as sending Christmas cards and gifts to family and friends. On Christmas Eve, the night of 24th December, everyone gets excited. The Christmas dinner is usually eaten together by relatives. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you are well-behaved.” Some children put socks for holding of the presents. It is a festival of love and happiness. I wish everyone a Marry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
