Grammar

as well as

Dear all,

Could you please distinguish three terms: correlative conjunctions, correlative subordinating conjunctions, and compound subordinating conjunctions?

Which conjunction does "as well as" belong to? Please give me an example.

Thanks a lot.

If anyone has used those terms, you'll find classifications easily by googling for them or for the classification of conjunctions. Personally, I have never heard any of them - but then, I'm not British or American. I am acquainted with Scandinavian grammar.
