when using "your", it is your schedule (a specific schedule), while when using "the", there are 2 interpretations:

noone's specific schedule or a specif schedule that both the speaker and the recipient are familiar with.

Hi all!:)

I have a question about the sentence, why is "with" missing? I thought whenever you used "provide" you should also add a "with" - Can it be omitted in soma cases?

"Provide us with the schedule..."

Thanks in advance!

I think it is because here provide means to make "available".

Hi Doll, what do you mean by "to make available"? I am sorry, I don't understand Emotion: sad

If you make something available, I can obtain it, buy it etc. (Somehow I feel that this is not the answer):D

Yours is an interesting question, Pucca. On-line dictionaries do not seem to take a consistent stance on the difference (if any). One of them offers these definitions side-by-side, however:

1. give something useful or necessary to; "We provided the room with an electrical heater"
