Grammar

as well

Hello, could you please tell me if the word order in the 1st sentence is ok?

1.I advise you to come by tram departing from the city center. You can come to the party by the local bus as well leaving from the city center.

2. I advise you to come by tram departing from the city center. You can come to the party by the local bus leaving from the city center as well.

To me the 2nd version is more natural but maybe the 1st one is ok too.

My second question is, can we use the words 'come', 'get' and 'go' in the sentence below interchangeably?

You can go/come/get to the party by tram.

(I am the inviting person). I think they are all ok.

Thank you!
Kind regards.

what about: You can come by tram or the local bus, both depart from the city center. This saves repeating yourself.

I find it's all a bit long winded....what about:

You can come by tram or the local bus, both depart from the city center.

This saves repeating yourself.

Thank you. Ok, I see.
I would like to know just if we can put 'as well' in the middle of a sentence or it should be placed at the end of it.

You can put it in the middle of the sentence, but in your example a comma would help:

"You can come to the party by the local bus as well, leaving from the city center."

Ok, but in this sentence 'as well' concerns the phrase 'you can come by bus' (you can come by bus too) but not the adjective 'leaving from the city center' (also leaving from the city center) ?

Maybe I will use another example to show what I mean:

You can contact Mrs Brown as well specialising in human resources (who also specialises in human resources).

As a reader, I would be far less confused by this instruction:

You can come / get / go to the party from the city center by either tram 15 or buses 34, 35, or 125. I advise you to come by tram because it takes less time, and trams run on a more frequent schedule.

No, this is not natural.

Here is an example:
Community colleges attract students who graduated from high school with lower grades, and they attract low-skilled workers as well.

Thank you very much!

GPY suggested using a comma before 'departing' (before an adjective).

Are such sentences ok, then? :

Mrs Jones is a hard-working employee, diligent and reliable.

I advise you to plant tulips and gerberas. You can plant roses as well, attracting visitors' eyes and smelling beautiful.

Thank you in advance for your furth

This isn't right. It sounds as if you are attracting visitors and smelling beautiful.
