Are these sentences both correct:

1-The disease was treated as had been done in your case.
2-The disease was treated, as had been done in your case.

Does "1" mean: a-The disease was treated in the same manner as it was in your case..
Does "2" mean: b-The disease was treated in your case and in this one as well.
I am not sure "1" works.
