As varied/different/various as the Blind Boys gospel choir

The Spring Festival (in Hungary) has expanded to include groups as varied as the Blind Boys gospel choir from America and even Taiwan's own Ju Percussion Group in 2002.

Is "varied" in the above equal to "different" and "various?" Thanks.
