As to , as if, as

Hi,

I am not sure if it is okay not to write "as" in the sentence: Reliability is as yet unknown.

I am not really know how use "as" which i saw in many places such as "as to" and "as of". If anybody can give me an example of each and explanation, that would be great.

thanks,
