As to a kitten

Which are correct:

1-I gave milk to the small animal milk as to a kitten.
2-I gave milk to the small animal milk like a kitten.

3-I gave milk to the small animal milk, as to a kitten.
4-I gave milk to the small animal milk, like a kitten.

Does the comma change anything?

Gratefully,
Navi.

None are correct. You need to remove the second instance of 'milk' in all sentences. Without the second 'milk' the is most natural to me written like this - I gave milk to the small animal, as to a kitten.
