What tense would you use in the following with the clause “as the day nears”?

if it’s a habit as opposed to one exam, what would be the difference?


Which are correct?


Do you stress out more as the day of the exam nears?

I get stressed out more and more as the day nears.

I stress out more and more as the day nears.
