Please help to advise what is the difference (if any) between the following two sentences below.
1. All proposals will be assessed based on the price information specified in the document "ABC". 2. All proposals will be assessed based on the price information as specified in the document "ABC".
I am not sure that "specified in ..." in (1) indicates where the price information is (i.e., in document "ABC") without any information on the assessment details whereas "specified in ..." in (2) indicates where the assessment is based on the price information and the criteria is listed in the document "ABC".
