The following examples are of my own making.
1. As soon as I entered the room he left it.
2. I had scarcely entered the room when he left it.
3. I had no sooner entered the room than he left it.
I know All three means "he left the room immediately after I entered it."
But I think #2 and #3 literally means " I entered the room immediately after he left it, and that #1 implies "he left the room because I entered it.'
And I think If #1 doesn't imply "he left the room because I entered it, I can take #1, #2 and #3 literally.
I was wondering if I could keep my idea.
