Grammar

As ... so too (to dramatize sentences)

Namaste,

I am looking to make a sentence dramatic but wonder if the grammar is correct.

As I became rich, so too would my son someday.

My intention is to convey: Just as I became rich, my son too would become rich someday.

But can we use 'as followed by so too' in this manner to dramatize the sentence?

Shukriya/Thanks,
Gita

so would my son, so and too are like 2 comparatives, one should suffice...I believe.

I would say:

My son will become rich someday just as I became rich.

I became rich. So will my son someday.
