......, as......, so.....

Hi,

Question:
Can I combine sentence 1 and 2 by writing them as the combined sentence?

Sentence1:

I have good analytical skills, as demonstrated while working.
Sentence2:

I demonstrated good analytical skills while working, so I am confident that I will be successful in this job.

Combined sentence:
I have good analytical skills, as demonstrated while working, so I am confident that I will be successful in this job.

Reason for asking:
I want to know whether this form of sentence is correct or not.
xx xx xx xx, as xx xx xx xx, so xx xx xxx.

Thanks

The form is OK. The 'as' is unrelated to the 'so'. Nevertheless, your whole 'as' phrase is redundant and awkward, and should be deleted from the statement; just use 'demonstrated' as an adjective to replace 'good'.
