Which are correct and natural please?

He was listening to music as he was stretching.
He was listening to music as he stretched.
He listened to music as he was stretching.
He listened to music as he stretched.

Do you wish to represent two simultaneous past actions?
In that case, the following are appropriate:
  1. He was listening to music while he was stretching.
  2. While he was stretching, he was listening to music .
('As' has many different meanings and can be confusing.)
