I think I have started a thread about this phrase but I'm afraid I couldn't find it. There are a lot of call center agents who use this in spoken and written English. I think this is very old-fashioned. I could remember that someone said s/he would never use/suggest this. Any other feedback? Alternatives? Or should it be completely avoided? How should we rephrase sentences then without 'as per'? Thank you.

Hello! What type of sentences do you hear "as per" in? I'm trying to think how often and in what cases it's used here.
