As or Being?

I am writing a career objective and become not sure which one I should use --- Being or As. Could anyone help me on this? Thank you very much!

Being a well-trained Biologist, I hope to work in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, allowing me to apply my bioscientific expertise and skills to make contributions for the health improvement.
