As much as

Hello there,
I'd like some help for the following sentence:

With its 14 neck bones, twice as much as humans have, an owl can rotate its head 270 degrees. But it cannot move its eyes.

I'm actually doing an exercise that requests me to find the mistake. I checked the correction, the answer is "twice as much as humans have", but they don't explain why.
Can you help me, please?

Thanks in advance.

"Bones" is countable, so you need "many" not "much."
