As/ like S +V

Excuse me. Can I ask a question? I was wondering if I could say that "she treats me as/ like my ex treated me before" or "she treats me as/ like my ex".

So my question is that it is fine to omit the "treated me before" if I think it is not needed in the context. That is, "as/ like my ex treated me before" can be equal to "as / like my ex" in the sentence?

Thank you in advance and I can't wait to hear from great people here.
