as if I was in the USA

Can you tell me, is the last sentence correct? I am talking about the use of 'as if' Would you rewrite it or leave it as is?

When I lived in USA, I would watch TV shows on television. Now that I am back in my country, I have to watch them on my computer. I would like to watch them on television as if I was in USA.
