As if and as though

Hi

I think we can use as if and as though interchangeably.

Please tell if these sentences are correct.

Context 1 - imaginary situation

He behaved as if he were a lion.

Context 2 : Something might have been true.

A: They ran as if they were chased by an elephant.

B: In fact, they were.

Context 3: Something might be true.

She speaks as if she knows everything about this place. She may live here.
