As I breathe
1) That man lies like I breathe.
2) That man lies the way I breathe.
3) That man lies in the same way I breathe.
4) That man lies as I breathe.
I think the first three are fine and mean the same.
I'd say '4' mean he lies at the same time as I breathe. It'd be a strange thing to say.
