'as' for relative clasues

"Hyundai Motor, which just recently unveiled a new Sonata hybrid, is expected to launch a plug-in hybrid version, as will BMW, Porsche and Audi."

I have learned that 'as' is also used for relative clauses and I was wondering if here in the sentence, 'launch a plug-in hybrid version' is the antecedent of 'as' or the full sentence in front is the antecedent of 'as'?

1) "Hyundai Motor, which just recently unveiled a new Sonata hybrid, is expected to launch a plug-in hybrid version, as will BMW, Porsche and Audi."

2) "Hyundai Motor, which just recently unveiled a new Sonata hybrid, is expected to launch a plug-in hybrid version, as will BMW, Porsche and Audi."

What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual in advance and Happy New Year!

I'm really not sure of your question, but I doubt that BMW, etc., will unveil a Sonata hybrid

I can offer you a paraphrase:

Hyundai Motor, which just recently unveiled a new Sonata hybrid, is expected to launch a plug-in hybrid version, and BMW, Porsche and Audi will also launch one.
