could you please more explain about the sentence below "as far as she goes in agreeing with the ban"

One of the smokers suspicious of the new ban is Hayley. This British driver said she doesn't smoke when her children are on board. But that's as far as she goes in agreeing with the ban.

In a context like this, as far as she will go, or as far as she is willing to go, would indicate that she is willing to do some of what is asked of her, but not all, or is willing to perform some action in connection with the matter, but not do as much as is requested. In this case they are talking about banning smoking in cars. She says that she wouldn't object to a ban on smoking when there are children in the car, as she doesn't smoke with her children in the car anyway, but she would not support banning smoking in cars when there were no children present.

As you have clearly figured out, posting questions here on EnglishForward is a good way to get help. When you learned your own language, you were probably surrounded by people who spoke it, and so you learned by hearing it and using it. The same applies to English—the more you are exposed to it and the more you practice it the better you will get at it. Try to read as much as possible in English. Watch English language movies. These are very useful sites (the "teachers" here use them frequently), but they are a little quirky. If you don't set up an account and log in you are limited to about 15 searches at a time. If you set up an account there your password will be stored by the site in plain text, so don't use a password you use elsewhere (you shouldn't do that anyway, but it's particularly important with sites that don't safeguard your information properly). It is worthwhile to learn how to use the search features of these sites; you can specify word types, or look for words with another word between them, and so on.
