Which are correct:

1) Your using the word 'bummer' is right up there with my using the word 'far out' as far as dating us both is concerned.
2) Your using the word 'bummer' is right up there with my using the word 'far out' as far as dating us both.

#1 is correct grammar, but without a lot of context I don't know what it means. #2 and #3 are incorrect. You can't just arbitrarily chop words out of a fixed expression.

The idea in is that we both use old expression and that 'dates' us, ie. shows how old we are.
