As Cicero

If I want to compare a person with Cicero in the way that the person is eloquent, I could say:

1 You are a Cicero in eloquence. (correct)

But is it correct to say like this:

2 You are as eloquent as Cicero.

I think we don't need "a" before Cicero in sentence 2. Do you agree?
