Hi, dear techers. Could you please explain me something? There is a sentence which addles me a little bit.
Several prominent people suggested that Carl Laemmle, left, as head of Universal, should receive a Nobel Peace Prize for All Quiet. Here he poses with the man who wrote the book - Erich Maria Remarque, who had experienced much of the action at firstband.(He went through all he wrote about and it was he who experienced it at all, right?)
