Hello, everyone Emotion: smile


I have a quick question regarding the construction <as ... as ...>, and the sentence that's bothering me now is this:


A problem which is as common as the robots are taking our jobs is that the robots are taking our judgment.


Regarding the underscored part of the sentence, I am not sure about the grammaticality of the structure, though the meaning of it is rather clear.

It would make more sense with quotation marks. A problem which is as common as "the robots are taking our jobs" is that the robots are taking our judgment. All in all, it's an odd little sentence.
