I think the following sentence 1 is wrong, and it should be the sentence 2. Could you confirm whether I am right? Thank you.

1. She didn’t spend so money yesterday as I do today.
2. She didn’t spend so much money yesterday as I do today.

I see. Then, how about "She made more money ten years ago than you do now" and "I spoke English better than he does now"? In case of these, I think both of them are okay.
