As ... as

Is it correct to start a sentence with 'as well as' or 'as much as' Would you say these are natural?

As good as he has been on the court, he's been just as good off the court.

As well as he shoots, he hasn't settled for tough shots.

As much as I like John, his brother is a better player.
As much as I like John, I like his brother more.
