Would you tell me if this is correct?
A photographer says this to a client.

I stayed overtime on your wedding day but I won't charge you as a sorry for taking this long to edit your photos.

It's rather strange to use 'sorry' as a noun, but you can say 'a way of saying sorry' thus:

I stayed overtime on your wedding day but as a way of saying sorry for taking this long to edit your photos I won't charge you.
