"as a result of which"?

Hi!

Can I use "as a result of which" in English? My sentence:

The paper details types of theft as a result of which a gun may fall into the hands of persons who may use the respective gun in un unlawful manner; furthermore, it set forth possibilities that allows for illegal manufacturing of a firearm, by using firearms’ essential components which are valid for use, or by rendering a disabled gun valid for shooting.
