As a literary style

1-His philosophy is somewhat analogous to Christianity as a world-view.
Is this sentence correct?
"As a world-view" is supposed to postmodify "Christianity".

How about:

2-His philosophy is somewhat analogous to Christianity taken as a world-view.

Gratefully,
Navi.
