As

She called me a few months ago, I showed up at her restaurant and when she came out from the back of it I could tell she had found out about it as she was looking very angry.

Is "as" the correct preposition to use in this sentence?

Is "was looking" fine, or should I instead use "looked"?

And, at last, would you prefer another comma in the sentence? If yes, where should it be?

Thank you.
