Hello.

These past few years have beaten me up a little.

That's what my friend said while text messaging. After that, I noticed I was mistaken about the 'years'.

Which is it I did:
I read 'years' as 'days'.
or
I read 'days' as 'years'.

I am confused with this 'as'. Thank you.
