As

Tired as he was,I decided not to trouble him.
Is this sentence correct ,some people say here "as " means " since".
And they say the following two "as" are different:
A doctor as she is , he asked her for help.(as=since)
Doctor as she is , she don't know how to do it .(As introduce an concession clause)
so how can I know "as" in the sentence" I do it as you told me "
