0I learned to whistle listening to the old Superman radio series - while I was still in my "high-chair." The quote is, "Faster than a speeding bullet." Obviously a speeding bullet can't run, so, "Superman can run as fast as a speeding bullet can" makes no sense. In this case, the "understood" portion would be, "(01b00Superman is02b00) faster than a speeding bullet."
