Yes, I see no clear logical connection between friendship and art.

It's about theatre company which is lead by friendship because all the members are friends. Does it make sense now?

Context always helps us to answer more appropriately.

You can say: Friendship among the members of a theatre group is the only force strong enough to keep alive their good and noble artistic ideas and intentions.

Thank you Davkett. But can I leave the sentence as it is if the preceding sentence is:

When in May 2001 XY Theatre crew gathered for the first time in Z, one of the founders of the company talked about friendship.

I would write:

Friendship is the only force strong enough to keep alive their good and noble artistic ideas and intentions.

Thank you. Or perhaps these two sentences can be connected:

...talked about friendship - the only force strong enough to keep alive their good and noble artistic ideas and intentions.

Or perhaps this:

...talked about friendship, the only force that he feels is strong enough to keep alive their good and noble artistic ideas and intentions.

I don't really care for good and noble--it is either redundant or banal. Intentions is also redundant, really. Artistic ideas is enough:

...the only force that he feels is strong enough to keep alive their artistic ideas.
