Artificial Construct Redundant

Is "artificial construct" redundant? It isn't clear to me if all constructs are artificial or if some constructs are not artificial. But even if all constructs are artificial it isn't clear to me if that makes "artificial construct" redundant. It feels natural to me.

Your response is surprising to me. I was thinking of artificial as contrasted with natural. But it seems that you are saying that in this context artificial suggests inadequate, or improper, or even sloppy or careless. For example, you might call an incorrect mathematical proof an artificial construct while a correct one would not be artificial even though both were made by people. I'm concerne

I think the problem here is more with the word "construct," than it is with the word "artificial." I had to look the word "construct" up, because I wasn't sure what it meant. I have never used this word in my life, and have only rarely heard it used, and then I didn't really know what it meant. Even after looking it up, I'm still not quite sure how it would be used. This word is apparently use
