Hello, I have 2 questions regarding articles.

1.
I want to translate one sentence into English which goes (don't mind the literal meaning please):

God thought: "I will send huge rain to the Earth today".

Should there be an article before "huge rain"? If yes, which one?

2.
There is a polish song titled "Orla cien".
In the polish language articles do not exist at all, so this can be translated as:

"Eagle's shadow"
"The eagle's shadow"
"The shadow of the eagle"
"A shadow of an eagle"
"The shadow of an eagle"
"A shadow of the eagle"

Which one of them would be the most natural in the English language?

Thank you in advance for any help.

tmn111 *** thought: "I will send huge rain to the Earth today". *** thought: "I will send a huge rain storm to the Earth today". "a huge rain" is not a natural expression because in normal usage, rain is a mass (non-count) noun.

  • tmn111 *** thought: "I will send huge rain to the Earth today".

  • Is is more focused on the shadow, or the bird?

Thank you.
So: "I will send huge rain" is not correct?

The eagle from the song is rather symbolic and the song is focused on the eagle, not on the shadow.

It goes like that (fragment):

I saw the eagle's shadow
He soared up like the wind (should there be 'the' here by the way?)
The sky is his world
He danced with a cloud in the daylight (again, should I us
