Articles

Now it’s just an early development stage requiring small quantity, but when mass production starts after development, the required quantity will be large enough.

In this sentence, I wonder if it should be like this:

Now it’s just an early development stage requiring a small quantity, but when the mass production starts after the development, the required quantity will be large enough.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Mariott Your sentence is awkward and doesn't make much sense to me. It needs quite a bit of rewording. For that reason, I am reluctant to make any suggestions or comments at all about the usage of articles in your sentence other than to say that I probably would use "mass production" without an article.
