Article use with abstract nouns

Hello!

I want to write a review of a product I have purchased and I have some doubts about the use of articles with descriptive adjectives and abstract nouns in the following phrases:

to offer (a) great value for money

to show (a) powerful performance

to be of (an) amazing quality

What are the rules of article use with abstract nouns preceded by descriptive adjectives?

Thanks in advance!
